Watch before you transfer

Once hotel points are transferred into Velocity Points, you usually cannot reverse the transaction.

That means this is not a “just in case” move. It is better used when you have a clear plan for the Velocity Points.

Also, don’t transfer points simply because there is a bonus. Transfer because the bonus helps you reach a specific travel goal.

This is a decent offer for people with unused hotel points and a clear Velocity plan.
